Top Cashback
A workmate has persuaded me of the virtues of a website called Top Cashback. It's a website that does referral cash back off retailers online.

Seems fairly promising, as it's probably just given me £35, for ordering a new phone. I did check, and have had colleagues successfully extracting money from it, into their bank account and everything. In the interests of full disclosure, that's a referrer link. You click through, sign up, use it a bit, and we both get a whole £1.

In other news, I have a new phone on the way. HTC Desire, £10/month contract. Had to pay a bit up front, but when I figured out that even if I bought it, and said 'nah' and cancelled the contract (with the penalty clause), it _still_ ended up about the same or a little cheaper than the retail price on the handset, I figured I might as well.

Does mean I've defected away from Vodafone to T-Mobile, but coverage maps seem similar (Both 3G and terrestrial).
Now the worst part is waiting for my new toy.

Another cashback website I use is Quidco. Over the last 2 years I've had over £250 back by shopping online through them. Best deal was over £90 for buying my phone on Vodafone!
