Physical IMAC Engineer - Poole - 183814

We are looking for a Physical IMAC Engineer based on one of our client sites in Poole, Dorset.

Job Purpose

To provide physical deployment, onsite support for hardware and/or software products interfacing with various resolver support teams & facilitate trouble shooting.

Accountabilities
Work scheduling & Queue management essential for carrying out BAU daily tasks & functions
To carry out stock management at site (including reporting), ensuring consistent stock levels are maintained against IMAC run rate.
Working closely with other technical support personnel to resolve technical problems via incident management process & IMAC service.
Demonstrate a high level of technical support knowledge of system operating systems to assist in the analysis and definition of complex hardware and/or software related problems. This will be conducted at customer site or via telephone.
To take responsibility & ensure appropriate call management & ownership of incidents/IMAC requests, through to successful completion of assigned calls to agreed SLA.
Track and document problems by status (resolved, duplicated, escalated and under investigation) utilising established incident management and reporting systems.
Liaise with manufacturers and/or vendors during problem resolution.
Provide technical assistance to 3rd line resolver teams and develop and conduct on - the- job training and processes, including production of documentation

Skills & Experience:
Windows XP,
Windows server 2000/2003.
Active Directory/admin.
Experience of supporting large user bases would be beneficial for this role.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Customer facing skills & management of customer expectations paramount.

Skills and Experience - Other Desired
Experience of application deployment tools such as SMS or Radia highly desirable for this role

Problem Manager - Inchinnan - 189602


We are looking for a Problem Manager to be based in our Inchinnan office.

The primary role of the Problem Manager will be to identify record and ultimately resolve the underlying cause of problems within the (client) IT Managed Services environment. This will be done via a series of investigations into identified trends, and the management of the remedial actions required resolving them.

Tasks:
Using data collated from our incident management systems, highlight recurring incidents and diagnose root cause
Ensure Known Error records established and cascaded where appropriate
Investigate and produce corrective action plans to eliminate repeat problems via change control, project initiatives or training/education programs and manage these plans through to completion
Conduct post major incident reviews, and identify and manage follow-up actions where required
Make recommendations for enhancements to processes and procedures
Liaise with Service Desk to ensure accurate and consistent incident information is available
Review Service Level performance reports and recommend areas for improvement
Assist in the production of management reports
Attend service take-on meetings to ensure Problem Management disciplines covered
Take ownership where appropriate of Major Incident affecting our clients services
