Meetings
Well, I've just been to a meeting, announcing our new datacentre project.

Thing is, the guy running it (big boss type suit) kept on using the phrase 'standardised, harmonised' when referring to stuff.

I can't help but feel that someone's been using the phrase 'standardised harmonised information technology' in meetings, and he's somehow missed the acronym.

Reading your posts it's like your professional life is a kludge of BOFH and Dilbert...

Oh it really is.
Dilbert especially.
Some days the daily dilbert strip is to apt it's just painful. (These are the ones that end up on the wall)

I'll spend the rest of my life sniggering, if someone manages to get that into a press release :)

Write your own press release and send it on to me at the Rugby Observer!

A cunning plan, with just one minor flaw: No one reads the Rugby Observer :)

Hey! We get letters frnm our readers... uhm, sometimes!

Besides, I spend all week working on the thing, so it'd feel very disheartening if I thought nobody really did read it :o(
