Toners? - Ed's journal
We've just had a Xerox engineer 'fixing' our printer. Apparantly 'someone' logged a fault with them about it 'printing a bit funny'.

He turned up, spotted the 'change toner' note on the control panel, changed the toner and fixed it.

This has amused me immensely. As an IT department, we mock users who do that. Nice to know we're not above that kind of thing :)

Though it's not as ironic as the IT department having to call out a service engineer to replace a network card.

Ain't outsourcing wonderful? :-?
