	Harry potter
	Well, I confess, I cracked on saturday and bought a copy. Proceeded to munch throught it, and it's now done. And I rather liked it. theferrett has posted some (Warning, spoilers behind this link)thoughts which I largely agree with. The order of the phoenix annoyed me, because it was 550 pages of 'stroppy teenager' and 50 pages of OMGWTFPLOT. (sorry ;p). Now, this one does something similar, but with one crucial difference. No stroppy teenager, ergo more plot/foreshadowing revealed to the reader. Oh, and a little more evolution of the characters, especially a few who've been on the sidelines, which was really rather nice. Well written, worth sitting down and reading if you're a fan. Just be prepared to be occupied for the next 8 hours or so.

Never understood the Harry Potter thing, just the Worst Witch with a sex change and a bit of LoTR plaguerism.

Did you ever see the Worst Witch 80's film with Tim Curry and a lot of psychodelic song-bits? It was one of my formative childhood films... and I still watch it sometimes!
